the download is done ... hey, where's my song?

The digitalphono music Store is relying on your digitalphono music player to play files in digitalphono audio file format, so you must first completely install the player before downloading song files.

When a song download is complete, the digitalphono music player should automatically start-up with your song loaded and ready to play. You should be able to find your song via the player menu:

Options->Preferences->Directories as illustrated in our on-line documentation.

If you cannot find your song anywhere (search for a .mes file) and if the ownload was suspiciously fast (for example, you never observed a Progress Bar) then something untoward has occurred:

  • If you lost your line during the download then you'll have to redownload.
  • if your PC has CompuServe software installed, then you may possibly have an out-of-date file: RpaWInet.dll.
updating RpaWInet.dll:

If this file does not exist on your PC then there is no need to update it.

If this file exists on your PC, then check to ensure that its version is v3.02, build 183.0 or higher. If this is not the case then you can do one of two actions:

  • If you're not using CompuServe then simply rename the file xRpaWInet.dll
  • You can download a newer version from the CompuServe site. Scroll down to find the download for RpaWInet.dll, copy the file to your disk, shut down your browser, and move the new version to your system directory.
