why does the player install fail with the message "Incorrect size or corrupted file?"

The digitalphono music Store is distributing the free digitalphono music player to play files in digitalphono music file format for Windows 95 and Windows NT 4.x systems.

"Incorrect size or corrupted file" is encountered when you try to run the player install program due to one of two conditions:

During download bits were reshuffled, or
The player download did not complete.

Your solution, in either case, is to re-download the player and retry the install. Here are the correct sizes of the digitalphono music player installation file:

Build 28, v1.0 (setup.exe) .............. 2,032,510 bytes or 1.93 Mbytes.
Build 29, v1.01 (dpc_101.exe) ...... 2,092,712 bytes or 1.99 Mbytes.
