why am I experiencing problems with color display?

Your digitalphono music player provides with not only cd-quality music, but also with a color display of the album cover when you select the Art view in the expanded player option. To provide you with proper visual presentation, these images use more than 256 colors.

When you installed the digitalphono music player, this window appeared as a warning that your color display settings were insufficient:

We have designed the digitalphono music player so that it can display on a monitor with only 256 colors. If your screen is flickering, then you can avoid this by collapsing the player display using the Options Tab.

solving the problem

You can solve this problem by changing the display settings for your crt within Windows. Depending upon the quality of your video display card, this may force you to reduce the size of your desktop area. If screen real-estate is dear to your heart, then you may prefer to live with your screen video limitations and limit use of the digitalphono music player to the collapsed mode.

You can increase the number of colors in your screen display by opening:

Start->Settings->Control Panel->Display

and selecting the Settings Tab. Now if you click on the Color Palette list you may be able to increase the colors used in your display. Any value greater than 256 will suffice.
